A general practice business lawyer.
The client came to Denver Legal Marketing looking for a way to become more established in a small community, with a larger goal of expanding the firm’s offices into other states and the Denver Metro markets.
Meranda suggested a strategy that would help increase the lawyer’s position and visibility in the local community as well as build the law firm into other locations. These strategies included:
- Increased community involvement: The goal was for the lawyer to choose several prominent networking events benefiting the local community as a way to show support for things the firm was already passionate about and to connect with potential clients who might need legal services.
- Increased state-level leadership: Although this attorney was already involved in several bar associations, Meranda suggested that they find leadership opportunities within ones that were more specific to the target client market.
- Emphasis on publishing and speaking: While this attorney had published several notable articles, Meranda outlined a strategy for maximizing the visibility of the attorney as a writer and speaker. Previously published articles were repurposed for larger consumption (on law firm blog and social media outlets), and Meranda contacted all relevant news and interview sources in the targeted markets to offer the attorney’s legal expertise. The results included additional news interviews, podcast invitations, and published articles in both local and state-level outlets.
- Marketing strategy based on growth mindset: As the marketing emphasis brought in new clients, the attorney hired additional associates and opened additional locations. Despite the success, the attorney retained Meranda’s services, allowing her to assist the new lawyers in business development areas like social media management, publication and speaking editorial services, and general advertisements.
